These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of marketmood.co (the "Site"), operated by MarketMood ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What MarketMood Is

MarketMood aggregates publicly available market news (Google News RSS and similar public feeds) and applies an automated, AI-assisted classification (Bullish/Bearish/Mixed/Neutral) plus real price and economic-calendar data to produce market commentary, a "Market Mood Index," and related tools. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no payments anywhere on the Site — a personal watchlist and notification preference exist only as browser-local settings on your own device (see Privacy Policy).

Not Financial Advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. Market impact labels, the Market Mood Index, News Heatmap, and 5-Day Price Performance bars are informational estimates generated from real data, not guarantees of future performance. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. Trading forex, commodities, equities, and cryptocurrency carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors — you could lose some or all of your invested capital. Always do your own research and consult a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.

Accuracy of Content

News summaries and bias classifications are generated by an automated pipeline (real-time RSS ingestion + AI classification) and may contain errors, omissions, or delays. We link to and credit the original source for every article (see Trust & Sourcing) so you can verify anything independently. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the Site.

Browser Notifications

If you opt in on the Watchlist page, the Site can show you browser-native notifications (via your browser's own Notifications API) when a new Breaking News item matches an instrument on your watchlist. This works only while the Site is open in a browser tab on your device — it is not SMS, email, or mobile push, uses no notification server, and will not reach you once the tab or browser is closed. You can revoke this permission at any time in your browser's site settings.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) scrape or systematically extract Site content at a volume or rate that degrades the Service for others; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the admin panel or backend systems; (c) use the Site for any unlawful purpose; or (d) misrepresent Site content as your own original reporting without attribution.

Intellectual Property

The Site's design, code, and original commentary are owned by MarketMood. Third-party news headlines and excerpts remain the property of their original publishers, credited via the Source link on each article.

Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party news sources and, in some cases, to advertising partners. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site linked from MarketMood.

No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketMood is not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including any trading or investment decisions you make.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
