Where our news comes from

MarketMood's news pipeline polls public Google News RSS feeds for headlines relevant to the instruments we track (Gold, Silver, Bitcoin, Nasdaq, S&P 500, Crude Oil) plus relevant forex-majors and Trump/White House economic-policy coverage. We do not have a newsroom of reporters generating original reporting — we aggregate and analyze real, already-published headlines from outlets like Reuters, Bloomberg, CNBC, CoinDesk, and others, and link back to the original source on every article.

How Market Impact / importance labels are generated

Each ingested headline is passed through an AI/LLM classification step that assigns a Bullish or Bearish market-impact read for the relevant instrument (we deliberately exclude Neutral-classified items from the public feed) and generates a short reasoning summary using hedged, non-certain language (e.g. “potentially bullish,” “could pressure”) — never absolute claims like “will rise.” A separate importance heuristic flags a subset of stories as higher-priority (“Breaking”/high-importance) based on signal strength, not human editorial judgment alone.

These are estimates generated with AI assistance, not guarantees, and not the product of a dedicated human editorial desk reviewing every single story before publish. We disclose this openly rather than presenting it as more authoritative than it is.

AI is used, and disclosed

Yes — AI (an LLM via OpenRouter) is used for headline classification, market-impact reasoning, and the per-instrument fundamental bias engine shown on the homepage. We are not claiming a proprietary, battle-tested trading algorithm or a team of round-the-clock human analysts. It is an automated pipeline with human oversight via the admin panel, not 24/7 human journalism.

Corrections & deletions

The site's admin panel lets a human operator pin, lower the priority of, or permanently delete any published article, and add manual posts when the automated pipeline misses something. If you spot an error, a broken source link, or a story that shouldn't be up, use our contact page and we will review it.
